The Flying Hellfish Clears The Crimson Hall

On Thursday February 25th, The Flying Hellfish killed Blood Queen Lana'thel and cleared The Crimson Halls on heroic! After wiping several times to her at 4% and even a 2% wipe we finally finished her off. On our kill attempt we hit the enrage timer with the boss at 150k hp and we were only able to kill her due to people with invulnerabilities. Nonetheless it was a much deserved kill and we're glad to get it out of the way. We also refined our Lady Deathwhisper and Deathbringer Saurfang strats this week so expect those two dead in the near future!

At the moment we have a Warrior and Boomkin in trial and we are heavily recruiting for the final push in ICC.

The Flying Hellfish Clears Icecrown Citadel

On Monday February 15th, The Flying Hellfish killed The Lich King and cleared the Icecrown Citadel! Again our kill came a bit late due to the server being unplayable on Tuesday and severe lag on Wednesday and Thursday. After a night of solid attempts constantly getting to phase 4, we finally killed Arthas. Videos from the kill can be found here and here. Next week we will be focusing on hard modes and working to finish Scum's Shadowmourne.

The Flying Hellfish Clears The Frostwing Halls

On Thursday February 4th, The Flying Hellfish killed Sindragosa and cleared the Frostwing Halls! This fight is very boring from a caster's perspective, but everybody was able to do their job and stay alive. We are currently focusing on Arthas with the remaining attempts left for this weeks reset, and also working on Scum's Shadowmourne.

The Flying Hellfish Clears The Plagueworks

On Monday January 11th, The Flying Hellfish downed Professor Putricide and completed the Plagueworks Wing. This encounter is really well tuned and was a nice challenge compared to the recent handful of bosses that just fell over within five minutes of being engaged. Our kill came a bit late because of the unbearable server lag that was a result of the recent opening of the new wing. The first couple days of this weeks raid reset made some of us reminisce of the lag during Naxx40 and Blackwing Lair. Nonetheless with this accomplishment we have moved up in rank to 123rd world and 52nd US! A video of our kill can be viewed here.
